Howard County Classes

General Information

Classes meet once a week at each location, year-round. The year is divided into fall, winter, spring, summer sessions and registration/payment is per session through Howard County Recreation and Parks. See below for further details.

When choosing classes, be sure to check the title and description carefully. Many locations have classes for beginners and higher belts at different times or in different class listings.

Summer Session 2026

Spring classes are currently in session and will end the week of June 8. Summer classes start the week of June 15. For details and to register, see the class list below and click the blue link below in “registration”. Registration opens about a month before the class start date.

To register, call (410) 313-7275 or visit the Howard County ActiveCommunities website and scroll down to find our classes.  Click the Add to Cart button to the right of your desired class.

Youth (ages 5 to 12) and Adult (ages 13 and up)

Weather Information

If schools are closed for the day or close early unexpectedly, TKA will not have class. You may call the program status line at 410.313.4451 (choose #1, then choose #1 again) to verify.
