Why Tompkins Karate?
TKA is a trusted partner of county recreation departments in suburban Maryland and has been in business since 1965. Over the years, TKA has graduated hundreds of students into the ranks of black belt. Never any long-term commitments. Never any contracts.
Pursuing and achieving a black belt is one of the most rewarding endeavors that one can undertake. Along with a sense of accomplishment, you receive:
- Confidence in all situations
- Coordination and physical conditioning
- The ability to defend yourself
And you will meet a great group of people pushing each other to become better martial artists.
Classes are provided through the county recreation departments and are held weekly, usually in 10 week sessions. TKA has locations in Howard County Classes, in Montgomery County Classes, and in Prince Georges County Classes. For more information please call our office at (301) 840-9262 or contact your local county recreation department.
